As a logical next step in your diving education, the PADI Rescue Diver course builds on what you have learned and expands on what you already know about how to prevent problems and how to manage them if they occur. You will learn self rescue, how to recognize and manage stress in other divers, emergency management and equipment, rescuing panicked divers and rescuing unresponsive divers. For this course you must be a PADI Adventure or Advance Open Water Diver and be at least twelve years of age. You also must be trained and current for first aid and CPR within the previous two years, or enrolled the the Emergency First Response CPR and first aid course.

Emergency First Response

First aid and CPR are good skills to have for anyone involved in adventure sports – just in case. In this course you will learn BLS (Basic Life Support) CPR and rescue breathing at the layperson level, AED (automated external defibrillator) use, preventing and caring for shock, spinal injury management, use of barriers to reduce disease transmission risk, basic first aid and first aid kit considerations.

SCUBA Refresher

Has it been a while since your last dive? A scuba review will reacquaint you with diving so that you feel comfortable diving again. The course reviews safe diving practices, dive planning fundamentals, problem management, breathing at depth, recreational diving, and dive tables: basic knowledge and dive planning. It continues with a confined water skills session and concludes with a dive on one of our local reefs.

Specialty Courses

We offer a variety of PADI specialty courses to allow you to learn new skills and improve your abilities and add to your enjoyment of diving.  Check with us for courses and availability.
